Béatrice Fischer is the Head of Communication & Marketing Swiss Universal Bank at Credit Suisse. In addition, she is responsible for the bank’s client offering in Philanthropy and Sustainable Investment. She is a member of the Management Committee of the Swiss Universal Bank Division. After graduating from the University of Zürich law school in 1990, she joined Credit Suisse as an account officer for corporate mid– to large-sized clients. In 1992 she was assigned to Credit Suisse Canada in Toronto, where she worked as a financial analyst covering a broad range of industries. After returning to Switzerland, she became an Account Manager and was subsequently promoted to Key Account Manager in the Corporate Client Division. In 1997 she completed a 6 months management training program at the International Bankers’ School in Chicago (Finance Track). Between 2000 and 2009 she has been Corporate Secretary of Credit Suisse followed by two years as Chief of Staff to the CEO Private Banking and four years as Head Stakeholder Management for Private Banking & Wealth Management. Béatrice is engaged in a number of Diversity & Inclusion initiatives as well as skills-based volunteering efforts. She is a member of the Board of Swiss Sustainable Finance and the foundation board of Swisscontact.
