General description of organisation
BEKB was founded in 1834 and has strong roots in Berne and Solothurn with around 1200 employees and 60 branches. As a leading Universal Bank, BEKB makes an important contribution to the economic and social development of these regions. It offers comprehensive banking solutions for private individuals and corporate clients and has a long-standing tradition in private banking and asset management. Our investment philosophy is characterized as locally managed, simple and understandable, long-term and sustainable.
Reason for membership with SSF
BEKB embraces its social and economic role in the Cantons of Berne and Solothurn and strives to make an important contribution to their economic development and strength as well as their livelihood. Thus, BEKB actively supports and promotes sustainable activities in these regions and is particularly committed to cultural and social concerns.
