This series of events focuses on practical tools available to the financial sector to address sustainability challenges, with each session featuring service providers presenting their solutions and real-world case studies. The first edition concentrates on tools designed to identify and assess nature-related risks (Robecco, WWF, and S&P Global), followed by an interactive discussion on their applicability and the practical challenges finance professionals face, and concludes with informal networking over drinks.

This breakfast event, organized in collaboration with UN PRI, brings together institutional asset owners from the western part of Switzerland to foster open dialogue, peer exchange, and the sharing of practices within the local investment community. Centered on climate-related risks and opportunities in sustainable investment and engagement strategies, the session includes insights on the low-carbon transition from the Geneva State Pension Fund, followed by an informal peer discussion on climate and other key sustainable finance topics.

Based on the Swiss Sustainable Lending Market Study 2025, published jointly by SSF and the Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW), we will provide detailed insights on the integration of ESG factors in the Swiss lending market by illustrating current market practice and progress achieved over the past two years. At the event, the main author of the report will present the findings and various practitioners will share insights into their strategies and sustainable lending approaches.

This publication is an SSF project completed for the SPII and was developed through the collaboration of a work group from our member base. Impact investing continues to grow across private markets and listed equity, yet accurately measuring the social and environmental outcomes achieved remains a key challenge. In this publication we outline several recommendations for the different actor types, including industry associations, private equity and private debt, listed equity and data providers and offer some recommendations to address these challenges.

In this webinar, we will talk you through the findings from the publication and then we will here from practitioners from listed equity and private equity and private debt. Finally, there will be time for a Q&A.

The European Union’s Omnibus I package introduces significant changes to the regulatory landscape – with direct implications for Swiss companies doing business with or within the EU.

In this webinar, Pierre Garraut, Senior Policy Adivser, Eurosif, will open the session with a clear overview of the new legal requirements under EU Omnibus I, highlighting what is changing compared to today’s regulatory framework and why these changes matter for Swiss businesses.
