18 September 2024 SSF Webinar: Standard Questionnaire on Sustainability Criteria for Real Estate Investments Online, Teams

SFF published, in collaboration with ESG real estate specialists, a questionnaire that aims to provide the most important data on direct real estate investment products to investors and consultants in a uniform and comparable way. The template questionnaire is directed at banks and asset managers offering direct real estate vehicles and at indirect real estate investors looking for comparable ESG information on their investments.

SSF is hosting a webinar to inform on the background, objective, and content of the questionnaire. Speakers include Isabel Müller (Swiss Life Asset Managers), Marc Wyss (Maerki Baumann & Co. AG) and Hendrik Kimmerle (SSF).

2 & 23 October 2024 SSF/Global Canopy Deforestation Workshop In-Person, Zurich

Organised in partnership with Global Canopy, this two-part workshop consists of two afternoons with the following learning outcomes:

  • Understand the physical, transition and systemic risks posed by deforestation and the essential role the finance sector plays in preventing and mitigating risks
  • Understand how deforestation risk measurement connects to new regulatory and voluntary disclosure requirements e.g. TNFD, CSRD and Swiss climate related disclosure regulation
  • Awareness of the guidance, tools and data available to assess nature-related dependencies and impacts in relation to deforestation and beyond
  • Ability to identify profiles of clients/holdings with likely high exposure to deforestation risk within their portfolios
