Since its creation in 1985, the Hotel Institue Montreux ( HIM ) has earned excellent reputation thanks to the quality of its academic programs which combine Swiss hotel tradition and American management practices.HIM offers a range of academic courses with qualification levels ranging from diploma to bachelor. The specialisations in finance, human resources and luxury brand management are endorsed by reputable names in their sector.
The Finance specialisation, currently endorsed by the Banque Priveé Edmond de Rothschild, offers our international student body a complete approach to the financial component of a business plan and focuses on the management of portfolios giving students an understanding of capital markets and fundamental analysis. Hotel Institue Montreux is part of the Swiss Education Group.

Reason for membership with SSF

Hotel Institute Montreux is interested in collaborating with SSF as it will expose our students to a relatively new aspect of Finance. HIM will not only benefit from the events, resources and network opportunities that SSF has to offer, but our students will learn to appreciate the importance of investing responsibly and will better understand “ green “ financial products and services. Our goal is to continue to promote sustainability in finance, hospitality management and leadership.
