General description of organisation
Migros Bank was founded in 1958 by the famous Swiss entrepreneur Gottlieb Duttweiler and is currently fully owned by the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. Migros Bank has become one of the leading Banks in Switzerland for retail and corporate clients. It serves its clients in all Swiss regions with some 70 subsidiaries, more than 1,620 employees (full time as per end 2023) and a host of online solutions.
Reason for membership with SSF
Since its foundation, Migros Bank has shared the cooperative values of the Migros Group. Service to its clients and to society in general is and has always been a major focus of Migros Bank.
