General description of organisation
The ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences is one of the leading universities of applied sciences in Switzerland. Teaching, research, continuing education and other services are both scientifically-based and practice-oriented. As one of the leading Engineering Faculties in Switzerland, the ZHAW School of Engineering emphasises topics which will be relevant in the future. Our 13 institutes and centres guarantee superior-quality education, research and development. The School of Management and Law is the largest business school of a UAS in Switzerland, and the only one accredited by AACBS.
Reason for membership with SSF
ZHAW is highly interested in the issues of Swiss Sustainable Finance and wants to contribute to this discourse. We see the SSF as a networking platform and as an opportunity to cooperate with research partners and companies to pursue the following goals: Produce interdisciplinary research with high impact in the finance industry; to advance the understanding of sustainable finance; promoting education in sustainability in finance and management.
