Investment Opportunities in Carbon Markets
On 26 August, SSF, together with McKinsey and SIX, hosted a high-level conference on carbon markets. The event highlighted how Switzerland’s innovative negative-emission technologies are opening new investment opportunities and driving the transition to a sustainable economy. Leading voices explored themes such as innovation in carbon markets, ensuring credibility, and positioning carbon markets as a growing investment opportunity.

Swiss Sustainable Investment Market Study 2025
We are pleased to present the 2025 edition of the Swiss Sustainable Investment Market Study. This year's study provides an overview of sustainability-related investment volumes and aims to bring greater transparency to the evolution of the sustainable investment market in Switzerland. It highlights how sustainable investment practices are continuing to mature across banks, asset managers and asset owners. We also introduced a free chatbot that allows users to ask targeted questions about the study and receive clear, tailored answers.

SSF Annual Conference 2025
On 17 June 2025, SSF hosted its Annual Conference in Bern with over 200 participants, focusing on the effective handling of climate risks in the face of increasing potential damage and resulting business opportunities. The high-calibre speakers included Andréa Maechler, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), and Stefan Walter, CEO of FINMA, as well as numerous market representatives. The SSF members also elected four new finance executives to the SSF Board during the morning Members' Assembly.

SSF Launches Swiss Platform for Impact Investing
The new Swiss Platform for Impact Investing was launched during Building Bridges and serves as the Swiss National Partner to GSG Impact. The platform aims to engage the Swiss ecosystem, act as expert voice, create clarity and transparency but most importantly increase flows of capital toward impact investing.
