Board member of Swiss Sustainable Finance Geneva (SFG) and Managing Partner at Circe Invest

Fiona Frick is the founder of Circe Invest, dedicated to helping asset owners and asset managers integrate sustainability and differentiation into their investment strategies.

With over 30 years of experience in asset management, including 12 years as a CEO, she provides practical and independent guidance on building strategies and allocating capital with consideration of return, risk, and sustainability.

Fiona started her career in 1990 at Unigestion, a specialised international asset manager, as a fundamental analyst and then investment manager in high yield and convertible bonds. In 1995, she led the development of the company’s equity activities, adopting a pioneering approach for managing equities based on the Minimum Variance anomaly. She was appointed CEO of the Company in 2011, and during this time, she successfully diversified Unigestion business into private equity and developed the Company’s recognised profile in sustainable finance.

In 2023, after 32 years at Unigestion Fiona decided to step down from her executive role to start her own consulting firm, Circe Invest, around the topics of investment allocation and sustainability as well as serving on boards.

She also nurture to conciliate finance, sustainability and academia through speaking and lecturing at relevant and influential institutions across the board. She has developed a high profile in both the finance industry and academia as a respected speaker on economics, financial markets, investment allocation, and the rise of sustainable finance. She has been recognised by the financial industry as one of the most influential women in European Finance.

Fiona currently serves on the boards of the Swiss Sustainable Finance and Sustainable Finance Geneva.

Fiona holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (I.S.G.) in Paris and a degree in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Dijon. She has also completed several executive programmes at the IMD Business School in Lausanne.
