Jean-Christophe van Tilborgh
Chief Investment Officer/Deputy CEO, Retraites Populaires
Since 2001, Jean-Christophe has been working at Retraites Populaires. Since 2015, he has been the Head of the Investment Division (CIO), managing around CHF 24 billion in assets and leading a team of 27 people. He has been a member of the executive committee and deputy CEO since 2022. He previously held positions as deputy CIO and assistant director, specializing in alternative investments and portfolio management. Prior to that, he was an auditor at Ernst & Young Financial Services (1999-2001).
Jean-Christophe has a Master of Science from HEC Lausanne (1998). He further completed advanced programs in strategic and financial management at IMD and asset management at INSEAD. He also holds the CAIA certification.
He is a member of several boards, including the Leenaards Foundation in Lausanne, the Swiss Pension Group, and advisory boards seat in Copenhagen (AIP Infrastructure) and Montreal (CDPQ Infrastructure).
