Virginie van Doorn is a Swiss strategic finance executive and board member with over 20 years of experience in banking, private equity, and sustainable finance. She combines governance expertise, ESG leadership, and public-private institutional insight.
Since 2020, she has led strategic projects at Conser ESG Verifier SA, a founding member of both Sustainable Finance Geneva and Swiss Sustainable Finance and a pioneering consulting firm dedicated to responsible investment. In this role, she builds strategic connections with institutional investors in French- and German-speaking Swiss market, strengthens collaborations between asset managers and asset owners, and advises pension funds and foundations on establishing and monitoring sustainable investment strategies.
Virginie currently holds several board mandates, including ISO Treasurer, Vice-Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee at Geneva Airport, and Vice-President and Treasurer of Sustainable Finance Geneva.
She holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Banking from the University of St. Gallen, complemented by a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Finance from the University of Zurich, a Programme for Executive Development diploma from IMD Lausanne, and a Board Governance Certificate from the Swiss Board School.
