General description of organisation
As a leading financial services provider in Northwestern Switzerland, BLKB plays an active role in the economic and social development of this region. Its customer segments comprise mainly private and business customers across the Northwest Switzerland region. Currently more than 750 people work at BLKB.
Reason for membership with SSF
BLKB substantially strengthened its position as a sustainable asset manager over the last years. The bank systematically integrates sustainability aspects in all its investment products and investment advisory services. BLKB is convinced that the integration of ESG criteria positively influences the risk/return profile of portfolios and thereby creates value for customers. The membership with Swiss Sustainable Finance will allow BLKB to support the further development of Sustainable Finance in Switzerland and exchange views with other financial institutions.
