General description of organisation
Peaceinvest is an investment firm based in Geneva that harnesses finance to build more inclusive economies and a more peaceful world. The company arranges financial vehicles and implements risk-reduction measures to mobilize capital at scale, improving returns on investments and their positive impact on communities. Namely, we are pioneering Peace Bonds and Equities to scale up businesses in green energy, food systems, digital and financial inclusion, and human capital. We bring profitable and peace-building investments wherever inequalities exist, from frontier to developed markets alike.
Reason for membership with SSF
Peaceinvest seeks to join the SSF network and cooperate closely with its members. In this collaboration, we aim to foster a joint action on the ground to setting new norms on the use of finance as an instrument of peace and sustainability. It is our goal to share knowledge on how to reduce risks and increase investment opportunities where they are needed most, generating returns and impact at-scale.
Our team is comprised of financial and peacebuilding experts, with many years of experience in both sectors. We seek to contribute this expertise to the establishment of Switzerland as the world's leading center for sustainable finance.
