General description of organisation
Record is a leading currency management firm, with CHF 56.8 billion of assets under management (as at 30th June 2019) for pension funds, foundations and other institutional clients worldwide. Our focus is on developing a deep understanding of the risk and reward opportunities in currency markets, in order to offer clients solutions appropriate to their needs. Record’s services include Bespoke Currency Hedging, Currency for Return and additional currency solutions and consulting services. Our objective is to design and implement intelligent solutions to meet our clients’ bespoke currency needs.

Record Currency Management has over 35 years of ethical and sustainable business practice and thought leadership. As a currency specialist, we have pioneered ESG research within currency. Record has been running for-return Emerging Market (EM) currency strategies since 2010, EM ESG overlay strategies since 2018 and EM hedging strategies since 2018. We are continually looking to enhance our EM offerings and are in the process of extending our EM currency universe into Frontier Markets. Our membership with Swiss Sustainable Finance highlights and enhances our existing sustainability efforts.
