SZKB was founded in 1890 as a bank for the canton. Stability and foresight are in its DNA. Thus, the bank is still strongly rooted in the economy and the population of the canton of Schwyz and makes an important contribution to the development of the region. In addition to the state guarantee, it has a very broad branch network and, with more than 600 employees, is one of the largest employers in the Canton of Schwyz. SZKB has long-standing experience with sustainable investments. The first investment solution considering strict sustainability criteria was launched as early as 2009. Although there were initial headwinds, the business was successively expanded and is now one of the bank's core competencies.
