General description of organisation
Synchrony Asset Management Ltd is a fixed income asset management company mainly serving institutional clients in Switzerland and Luxemburg. The company was founded as Loyal Finance AG in 1991 to provide independent bond portfolio management at reasonable cost and avoiding third party interests (e.g. retrocessions). By 2023 Loyal Finance AG was fully acquired by BCGE (Banque Cantonale de Genève) and continues to run independently as their fixed income competence unit. By July 2026, the company name was changed to Synchrony Asset Management Ltd.
Reason for membership with SSF
Synchrony Asset Management Ltd became a SSF member to gain more insight into ESG developments for asset managers and to be in a position to further support clients with ESG considerations in their portfolios. The aim is to apply the ESG investment principles as far as feasible and useful to the restricted business field of bond portfolios (listed investment grade bonds, mainly in CHF).
